Competition Cheer Finishes 8th

The JCHS Competition Cheer team finished 8th in the State Co Ed Championships this past weekend in Coulumbus.  Congratulations to Coach Holt and her squad.

Brower and Carter Sign with GMC

JCHS Golfers, Kaitlyn Brower and Emily Carter, signed Golf scholarships today with GMC.  We are extremely proud of them and would like to congratulate them and their family.

Hounds Beat Warner Robins in Opener

Jones County beat Warner Robins 58-57 in the regular season opener this past Saturday.  The Hounds next game will be a road contest at Ola on Thursday at 7:30 and then will be back at home on Saturday at 4:00 to host Monticello

Greyhounds Advance to 2nd Round

Jones Co advanced to the 2nd Round of the GHSA State Playoffs with a 26-13 defeat of South Effingham Friday Night.  The Hounds will host Cedar Shoals this Friday at 7:30.

Madisen Mitchum Signs with Charleston Southern

Mackenzie Kilpatrick Signs with GMC

Congratulations to Mackenenzie Kilpatrick for signing a Softball scholarship today with GMC.  Congratulations to her and her family on this great achievement.

Hounds Win Region Championship

Jones County Football improved their record to 9 – 0 and won their 1st region Championship since 2001 with a 23 – 14 win against Ola.  The Hounds now have a chance for an undefeated season when they play Stockbridge this Friday night.

Laney Doster Named All State

Congratulations to Laney Doster for being named to the 5A State Cross Country Team.  This is a tremendous honor and we are proud of Laney.  She helped lead the Lady Hounds to a 10th place finish at the State Meet.
