Tennis Teams Drop Openers

Both JCHS Tennis teams dropped their opening matches to Houston County by a score of 3-2.  Both teams will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Barnesville for a 4:00 start against Lamar Co.

Hounds Fall to Woodland

Jones County fell to Woodland last night in the opening round of the Region 4AAAAA. Basketball Tournament by a score of 79 – 35.

Tennis Drops Opener

The JCHS Tennis teams both fell to Houston Co 3-2 in their 2018 openers.  They will be back in action tomorrow as they travel to Barnesville for a 4:00 match.

Region Tourneys Begin

The JCHS Lady Hounds will play Monday at 5:30 at Woodland HS in the first round of the Region 4AAAAA Basketball Tournament. The boys will play Tuesday at 5:30.

Trey Bonner Wins Sectional

JCHS Heavyweight wrestler, Trey Bonner, won his State Sectional this weekend and now advances to the State Championship this week in Macon.

3 JCHS Wrestlers Advance

Congratulations to Tobias Hollings, Hunter Norris and Trey Bonner for advancing to the State Sectionals this weekend in Wrestling.  Trey was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Area Duels.

3 JCHS Wrestlers advanced to the State Sectionals this past weekend.  Trey Bonner, Tobias Hollings and Hunter Norris all won and advanced to this weekend’s sectinals at Union Grove.  Bonner was also named the Area’s Most Outstanding Wrestler.  Congratulations and good luck. Go Hounds!!!
