Terell Solomon picked for North-South All-Star Game

Terell Solomon was picked for The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game which will be held in Columbus, GA. The game will be played at the Memorial Stadium in Columbus on December 30th at 1:00 PM. Congratulations to Terell and all his hard work, we wish you the best!

East/West All-Star Football Game

This year four seniors were selected in the East/West All-Star game that will be played at Westside High School in Macon, GA. The seniors selected are #71-River Vaughn, #7-Chandler Ramage, #3-Reggie “Nookie” Lewis, and #2-Tyric Solomon. The boys will play this coming Saturday in the All-Star game at Westside High School at 1:00 PM. 

JCHS Basketball Splits with Howard

The JCHS Greyhounds split a pair of games last night at Howard.  The boys were victorious 76 -70 while the girls lost a tough game by the score of 49 – 37.  Both teams will be back in action Saturday evening at 7:00 against Northeast.  JV games will being at 4:00.

Jones County Takes Two From Hampton

Jones County swept a pair of basketball contests from Hampton High School Saturday at JCHS.  The girls won the opener 53 – 38 and the boys followed with a 101 – 48 win.  Jones County will travel to Howard High School on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:00 and will return home on Saturday, December 19

Hounds sweep Jasper

Jones County swept a pair of basketball games Friday against Jasper County.  The girls prevailed 66 – 41 while the boys defeated Jasper 81 – 72.  The Hounds will be back in action Saturday against Hampton High School at JCHS.

Softball All Region 2015

The Jones County Softball team was well represented on the 2015 2-AAAAA All Region Softball teams. 1st Team includes McKenzie Barnes, Bree Comer, Sydney Lanford and Cheyanne Mosteller. 2nd Team is Madison Cavender and Madie Findlay made Honorable Mention.
