Football Athletes Named to 2019 All-Region Team

Congratulations to the following Greyhound Football Athletes on being named to the 2019 Region 4AAAAA All-Region Team! Hounds Fall in Semi-Finals

Jones County finished their season with a 12-2 record as they fell to Buford 29-0 in the GHSA State AAAAA Semi-Finals.  We are unbelievably  proud of our Greyhounds and congratulate them on a super season.

Jones Co Advances to State Semi Finals

Jones Co beat Griffin 49 – 14 Friday night in Gray to advance to the State Semi Finals for the first time in school history.  The Greyhounds will host Buford this Friday night at 7:30.  Tickets are on sale all week at the school for $15.

Football – Quarterfinals

Football Playoffs – Round 2

Greyhounds Advance to 2nd Round

Jones Co advanced to the 2nd Round of the GHSA State Playoffs with a 26-13 defeat of South Effingham Friday Night.  The Hounds will host Cedar Shoals this Friday at 7:30.

Hounds Win Region Championship

Jones County Football improved their record to 9 – 0 and won their 1st region Championship since 2001 with a 23 – 14 win against Ola.  The Hounds now have a chance for an undefeated season when they play Stockbridge this Friday night.

Hounds Move to 7-0

Jones Co went on the road Friday Night and defeated Dutchtown 27-22 in a battle between two top ten teams in Class AAAAA.  The Hounds will be off this week and then travel to Eagles Landing on October 25.

Hounds Stay Undefeated

JC Football moved to 6-0 on the season Friday night with a 42-28 win over Locust Grove.  The Hounds will square off with undefeated Dutchtown this Friday at Dutchtown

Hounds go to 4 – 0

Jones County defeated Union Grove Friday Night to improve to 4-0 on the season.  They will play Woodland at home this week ih their Homecoming Game.
