The JC Lady Hounds advanced to the Region Championship with a 60 – 55 win today over Woodland.  They will play at 7:00 tomorrow night against the winner of Eagles Landing / Locust Grove.

Both JCHS Varsity Basketball teams are sitting with 12 – 3 records as 2019 gets underway.  Both teams will be back in action on Friday as JC hosts Dutchtown in a big region matchup.  The girls game will get underway at 5:30 Friday night with the boys following.

The JCHS Girls Basketball team swept a pair of games this weekend and moved their record to 9-2.  Friday night they beat Locust Grove 64-40 and Saturday they beat Warner Robins 51-45.      

Jones County defeated Stockbridge last night 53-29.  The Lady hounds will be in action Friday on the road against Locust Grove.  They will play at home again on Saturday when they host Warner Robins at 4:00

The JCHS Girls Varsity Basketball squad split a pair of games this weekend.  Friday night they lost to Eagles Landing 55-48 and then Saturday beat Mary Persons 63-8.  They are now 6-2 on the year and play at home Tuesday night against Stockbridge at 6:00.

Jones County swept Union Grove last night in their first region basketball contests.  The girls won by a score of 41 – 38 and then the boys finished them off by a score of 58-44.  The Hounds will have their home opener this Friday with a region game against Ola.  The Girls play at 7:00

The JCHS Lady Hounds Basketball team split their first two games of the year this past week.  They opened the season with a victory at Baldwin before falling in a close game at Monticello.  They will play on the road again on Tuesday at Union Grove before returning home for their home opener on Friday

The JCHS Lady Hounds will play Monday at 5:30 at Woodland HS in the first round of the Region 4AAAAA Basketball Tournament. The boys will play Tuesday at 5:30.

Saturday’s game times have been changed due to weather concerns.  JV Girls will now begin at 2:00 followed by the JV Boys at 3:30.  Varsity Girls will tip off at 5:00 followed by the boys at 6:30.  Please do not forget we are hosting Stockbridge on Friday Night

Jones County swept Ola High School in a Region double-header Tuesday night with the Girls winning 48-34 and then the boys taking care of the Mustangs 83-53.  Jones County will be back in action Friday Night in Gray in another big region matchup against Stockbridge.  The Girls tip off at 7:00 followed by the boys
